For Now, It’s The Nissan Sport Sedan Concept. But Could It Be The Future Of Nissans?

The Nissan Sport Sedan Concept was the eye magnet at the 2014 Detroit Auto Show and not surprisingly scored the title of “Best Concept.” It was also included in the Editor’s Picks from Autoweek Magazine! Just from its appearance, it won over hearts with its “V” flowing grille, a its seemingly floating roof, diamond shaped seat graphics and boomerang-like headlights. It’s just a thought, and a hopeful one, but maybe this “Best Concept” award winner will be the basis for the 2016 Nissan Maxima! Whether or not the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept really is the 2016 Nissan Maxima, we’ll all have to just wait and find out. (None of us want to just wait and find out. Who has time for that when it comes to such an amazing concept?!)

Is It The Future Face Of Nissan?

Even if it’s not the next generation of the Nissan Maxima, the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept somewhat gives insight into Nissan’s design theme for the next, hopefully several years. It’s an important vehicle for Nissan too because it continues on their legend of combining sports car principles into a sedan, while bringing a new and energetic design direction to the table of that legend. The unfortunate part is the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept is intended only as a design study, with nothing to do with future models at the moment. But maybe, just maybe, that’ll change with time.

Future Face Or Not, The Nissan Sport Sedan Concept Has A Gorgeous FaceINTERIOR: Nissan Sport Sedan Concept Kingston, New York

All of us here at Kingston Nissan wish you luck in looking away from the Nissan Sport Sedan Concept, because it’s an absolutely perfect concept!  For a few years now, eyes have been drawn to boomerang like taillights on other Nissan models, like the 370Z, and so Nissan designed boomerang headlights for the Sport Sedan Concept! Then there’s the “V” grille, which is quite similar to the grille of the 2015 Nissan Murano. Finally, the unique “floating roof” and wide sloped windshield adds openness, which is a fan favorite. Only if you glance at the interior, your eyes will be instantly glued to the seats as they sport diamond shaped graphics.
