Background
A California native, who was raised in Santa Barbara, I moved to the Catskills after coming here on vacation in 1989 and haven’t left since. I have been in the auto industry most of my adult life. I started out by racing Formula Fords in the 80s and working for one of the country’s leading racing schools. Later I got into the Retail automobile trade and, like the Catskills, have never left.

Hobbies & Interests
I love playing golf. I still follow auto racing (mostly Formula One) but don’t go to or participate in it much these days. I most recently rediscovered poker (I played some in college) although now it seems to be a more mental game than I remember. Did I mention that I like golf?

What is your favorite movie?
I like to call film my favorite art form.  I love, and have seen many, classics. Some of my favorites are The Philadelphia Story, North by Northwest and Casablanca. I have a traditional Friday night movie ritual with three of my four sons (my eldest lives in California). We watch all types but all of us seem to like the comedies the best. I don’t think it is possible to pick an all-time favorite.

Favorite Vacation Spot
Gotta have a golf course or the ocean… if it has both, I am there!

What’s the best thing about working for Kingston Nissan
If you spend any time working with a group of people, you will eventually hear “It’s not my job”. In this place of business, while everyone has responsibilities, no one is boxed in by them. I’ve seen Anthony cleaning snow off cars in the winter. I’ve seen salespeople in the prep department washing a car. I’ve seen Tom Gordon vacuuming the waiting area. From top to bottom, it is everyone’s job to get the job done.
